Information Systems professional, who after many years in IT network and end user support pivoted my career to Software Engineering. After accepting an offer with Paradatec, Inc. I have been combining my skills in front-end and back-end software engineering (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Git, GitLab, GitHub, TDD, MVC, Agile/Scrum), with my IT problem-solving, critical thinking abilities, and collaboration skills. Continued to develop problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills, while working as a contractor in IT for the FAA at the Port Columbus Air Traffic Control Tower. As of October 2016, I was tasked with full time Remedy Queue Monitor duties. This included being responsible for assigning Help Desk generated Remedy Incidents as well as customer generated Service Catalog Remedy Tasks to the FAA Great Lakes Region IT Support Technicians, and making sure they made contact with the customers in order to meet Service Level targets. Other duties included ensuring Technicians kept in contact with customers on older Incidents, and were working to close those issues in a timely fashion.
I provided Tier II desktop support for FAA employees. Assisted with hardware/software installs and troubleshooting via resolving incidents in Remedy Service Management. Investigated and resolved issues related to network hardware and administration. Performed Active Directory Account administration duties. Provided users assistance with Windows 7, Microsoft Outlook 2010, & Lotus Notes installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
